Wanna see some Vince Vaughn??

Coming down from the high of a wonderful holiday isn't easy. As I watch my neighbors take down their Christmas decorations, I think that it's official--the Christmas season is over and all we have to look forward to now is a long, cold winter. Downtown, however, the Christmas spirit lives on for one more week per the request of the Art Direction Department from Fred Claus. Department stores up and down Michigan will be keeping up their holiday decor in support of Vince Vaughn's latest project. I think I may go downtown and take some pics of the production and see if I can get any Paul Giamatti, Kathy Bates, Kevin Spacey, Rachel Weisz or Vince Vaughn action. I know, crazy cast.

On Sunday, January 7 and Monday, January 8, Warner Bros. will be filming scenes for the upcoming feature film currently entitled "Fred Claus" at various locations along Michigan Avenue. The majority of the filming will center around Michigan Avenue and Chicago Avenue, and near the Michigan Avenue Bridge. Filming will begin at approximately 6:00AM and continue until 5:00PM each day.

The Fred Claus Art Department will be adding Christmas decorations to the area beginning Thursday January 4. We have approached several businesses to ask that they leave up or remove holiday decorations. If you have not been approached by the productionŠ.
